The Military Admissions Board, Ministry of National Defense, announced on 9/6 that the exam will be conducted in six sessions over three days. It will take place simultaneously across three regions.
In the northern region, the Military Technical Academy will lead the organization at five test sites in Ha Noi. These include: Military Technical Academy, the Institute of Digital Education and Testing (Vietnam National University, Ha Noi), the University of Natural Sciences, the University of Transport and Communications, and Dai Nam University.
Candidates in the central region will sit the exam at the Information Officer School in Khanh Hoa, while those in the southern region will attend the Infantry Officer School 2 in Dong Nai.
According to a previous announcement by the Ministry of National Defense, the competency assessment exam for the 23 military schools shares a structure similar to the HSA exam of Vietnam National University, Ha Noi. The QDA exam comprises three parts: Mathematics and Data Processing (80 minutes, 50 questions), Literature - Language (55 minutes, 50 questions), and Science or English (60 minutes, 50 questions).
For the Science section, candidates can select one of four combinations: Physics - Chemistry, Chemistry - Biology, Physics - Biology, or History - Geography.
The Military Admissions Board has released the format, detailed syllabus, and sample QDA exam papers to assist candidates in their preparation. During the official exam, candidates will receive their scores immediately upon completion of the test.
This year, military schools plan to recruit 5,420 university students, an increase of over 1,000, marking the highest enrollment figure in the past five years.
Candidates who do not register for the QDA exam can apply to the 23 military schools through three other methods: direct admission, using competency assessment exam scores from Vietnam National University, Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City, or based on high school graduation exam scores.
