Doctor Le Anh Duc, Head of the Training Management Department at National Economics University (NEU), provided this assessment. He projects the admission score range to be from 23 to 28,5, approximately 0,25 points lower than last year's range of 23-28,83.
These projected scores are categorized into four groups: those with scores of 27,5 or higher, above 26 points, from 24,5 points, and from 23 points. However, Doctor Duc noted that some popular majors, such as logistics and supply chain management, international business, e-commerce, and marketing, may see scores 0,25-0,5 points higher than the general range.
Doctor Duc based this projection on four factors:
: First, the score distribution of the national high school graduation exam and aptitude/thinking assessment tests.
: Second, candidates can register for a maximum of 15 preferences, and universities can only convert IELTS or equivalent scores, or add bonus points.
: Third, NEU increased its enrollment quota by 500 this year compared to last year and introduced 15 new majors and programs, which may slightly reduce competition.
: Finally, data indicates that the university's admission scores have shown little fluctuation in recent years.
Doctor Duc emphasized that this forecast serves as a guide for candidates choosing suitable majors. Official admission scores depend on factors like application volume, major quotas, and individual candidate scores.
NEU is expected to announce the minimum eligibility score on 4/7. Candidates can begin registering and adjusting their university and college admission preferences on the Ministry's system from 2/7, a process that will last until 17h on 14/7. Official university admission scores will be announced after 17h on 9/8. Before registering preferences, candidates can visit VnExpress's University Lookup page to view historical admission score fluctuations by major, university, or tuition fees.
This year, NEU will use three admission methods: direct admission, scores from the national high school graduation exam, and combined admission.
Combined admission is the main method, divided into three groups:
: Group one consists of students with international certificates such as SAT scores of 1200/1600 or ACT scores of 26/36 or higher.
: Group two is for candidates with aptitude and thinking assessment test results, a minimum of 85/150 for HSA, 700/1200 for APT, or 60/100 for TSA. They can use independent test scores or combine them with international English certificates such as IELTS from 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 46 or higher.
: Group three includes candidates with English certificates combined with national high school graduation exam scores in mathematics and one other subject. The certificate requirements are similar to group two.
For 2026, NEU's tuition fees are approximately 20-28 million Vietnamese dong for standard programs and 41-68 million Vietnamese dong for advanced, high-quality, and application-oriented (POHE) programs.
