The talent bachelor program in computer science has a minimum admission score of 21. This policy applies to all training majors and the university's campuses nationwide for the 2026 admission cycle.
FPTU employs a combined admission method, evaluating both high school graduation exam scores and 12th-grade academic performance. The total admission score is calculated as the sum of three components: a combined score, an incentive score, and a priority score. The combined score is determined by the following formula: Combined score = (high school graduation exam score + (12th grade average score × 3)) / 2.
For the high school graduation exam scores, the university accepts two subject combinations: Axx, which includes mathematics and any two other subjects (applicable to all training majors), and Cxx, comprising literature and any two other subjects (applicable to majors outside information technology and computer science).
Additionally, FPT University offers direct admission in accordance with the regulations set by the Ministry of Education and Training. Priority admission is also granted to candidates who meet the quality assurance threshold and fall into one of the following groups: those who graduated from high school abroad or from high schools within the FPT Education Organization; holders of certificates or diplomas such as: Aptech HDSE/ADSE, Arena Adim, Skilling, Jetking; or graduates of programs like BTEC HND, Melbourne Polytechnic, FUNiX Software Engineering, or FPT Polytechnic College.
To be admitted to FPT University, eligible candidates must register FPT's school code as one of their preferences on the Ministry of Education and Training's common admission support system. The application period runs from 2/7 to 17:00 on 14/7.
For this academic year, FPT University is recruiting for numerous majors and specializations across various fields, including information technology, computer science, business administration, media technology, law, and languages. The training programs are designed around three core pillars: technology, entrepreneurship, and global integration. The university is also expanding its offerings to include many new majors that address the workforce demands of the digital economy, such as robotics and artificial intelligence (with a focus on UAV and humanoid technologies), applied data science, customer experience management, business analytics, procurement management, and integrated marketing communications.
