Ngoi Sao Hoang Mai School awards 20 full scholarships

Ngoi Sao Hoang Mai School will hold an ability assessment exam and award full scholarships to 5th and 9th grade students, scheduled for 10/1/2026.

Ngoi Sao Hoang Mai School is preparing to host an ability assessment exam and offer full scholarships for students entering 6th and 10th grades. The exam, scheduled for 10/1/2026, will take place at the school's Kim Van - Kim Lu campus in Dinh Cong ward. This initiative aims to help students familiarize themselves with the structure, requirements, and pressure of grade transition exams.

This open event is designed for all students, regardless of their current academic level, to provide a valuable experience before they face official entrance exams. The results from this assessment will serve as a basis for Ngoi Sao Hoang Mai School to admit students into 6th and 10th grades for the 2026-2027 academic year. The school plans to award 52 scholarships, including 20 full scholarships specifically for students who achieve outstanding results and demonstrate strong critical thinking and long-term development potential.

A school representative stated that the assessment does not differentiate based on academic level. It offers students a safe, realistic, and guided opportunity to experience a transition exam. The school designs exams that simulate the structure and pressure of entrance exams for 6th and 10th grades, helping students learn time management, problem-solving, and how to control their emotions during tests.

Unlike typical tests, Ngoi Sao Hoang Mai's assessment content focuses on overall learning capacity, including: logical thinking, mathematics, language, and analytical skills; level of concentration, study discipline, information processing speed, and adaptability to the secondary academic environment.

Following the assessment, each participating student receives a personalized ability evaluation report. This allows parents and students to clearly identify strengths, areas needing improvement, and readiness for the transition exam. Many parents use these results as a basis for developing appropriate learning pathways for the next stage.

"We believe that every student possesses individual abilities. When assessed correctly and promptly, they will become more confident, proactive, and have the opportunity to develop along a path suitable for them," a school representative shared.

Previously, during the 2024-2025 academic year, Ngoi Sao Hoang Mai's scholarship and ability assessment exam attracted nearly 4,000 students, demonstrating the program's significant appeal.

Ngoi Sao Hoang Mai School currently boasts modern facilities, including over 200 classrooms, an experience building with 32 functional rooms, a 530-seat auditorium, a 400 square meter library, and multi-purpose sports fields. The educational program at the school is built upon the 2018 General Education Program, combined with a specialized curriculum based on the philosophy of Virtue - Intellect - Physique - Humanity - Harmony. This provides a continuous learning pathway from 1st to 12th grade. The school aims to educate students for comprehensive development and readiness for global integration.

At the high school level, Ngoi Sao Hoang Mai students receive 8 IELTS lessons and 6 SAT lessons weekly during regular class hours. They also receive career orientation, study abroad counseling, and assistance in building personal profiles starting from 10th grade, preparing them for future academic and professional endeavors.
