Public relations tuition fees reach up to 80 million VND

Thirteen universities offering public relations programs have announced annual tuition fees ranging from 16.9 to 48 million VND.

This fee typically covers two semesters. Some universities, such as Nam Can Tho University, Dai Nam University, and Yersin Da Lat University, have three semesters per year. Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance has four semesters, with tuition fees around 80 million VND.

The Vietnam Youth Academy has the lowest tuition at 16.9 million VND per year, an increase of nearly two million VND compared to last year.

Projected tuition fees for public relations programs at 13 universities for the 2025-2026 academic year are as follows:

No. University 2025-2026 Tuition (million VND)
1 Academy of Journalism and Communication 33.8
2 University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) 33
3 Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology 29.6-37.6
4 National Economics University 18-25
5 Vietnam Youth Academy 16.9
6 Hoa Binh University 29.5
7 Van Hien University Over 34 (two main semesters)
8 Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology 44

11 Nguyen Tat Thanh University 48
12 Dai Nam University 40.5 (three semesters)
13 Yersin University Da Lat 30-33 (three semesters)

All universities offer various scholarships for new students, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds or with excellent academic achievements. Some universities collaborate with banks to offer student loans with preferential interest rates, easing the financial burden of tuition.

University tuition is currently based on Government Decrees 81 (2021) and 97 (2023). For the 2025-2026 academic year, the maximum tuition fee for public universities not yet self-sufficient in recurrent expenditures is 1.5-3.1 million VND per month, depending on the field of study.

For autonomous universities, tuition can be up to 2.5 times the maximum. For accredited programs, universities determine their own fees.
