Southern Vietnam universities set minimum admission scores at 15

Ten out of 14 southern Vietnam universities announced a minimum admission score of 15 for most programs, the lowest in three years for many institutions.

Following the Ministry of Education and Training's release of the 2025 high school graduation exam scores, many universities announced their minimum entry requirements. This score is the lowest a candidate must achieve to apply.

The University of Finance - Marketing (UFM), HCMC University of Technology (HUTECH), University of Economics - Finance (UEF), University of Foreign Languages - Information Technology (HUFLIT), Hong Bang International University, and Van Hien University all set their minimum score at 15 for all programs. HCMC University of Technology and Education, Hoa Sen University, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Van Lang University, and Saigon International University saw similar decreases.

Notably, the University of Science (Vietnam National University, HCMC) and HCMC University of Agriculture and Forestry had more significant drops for certain programs.
