Established in 2011, St. Paul Hanoi offers an American-standard education from 1st to 12th grade, with English as the primary language of instruction. The school boasts a team of experienced international educators who prioritize student-centered learning.
High school students can choose from a range of Advanced Placement (AP) courses, recognized by prestigious universities worldwide. These courses not only provide academic knowledge but also develop critical thinking, creativity, communication skills, and character.
"The school's rigorous curriculum honed my analytical and writing skills—crucial for expressing my personal vision in college application essays," shared Phan Hoang Linh Dan, a 2024 graduate now studying at Cornell University.
One of St. Paul's greatest strengths is its personalized college counseling program. Guided by experienced college counselor Gus Marantos, students receive support in academic planning, course selection (especially AP courses), university application strategies, essay writing, interview practice, and choosing the right university.
Nguyen Doan Duc Vinh, a 2025 graduate who gained admission to Yale University, shared how AP courses helped improve his grades and academic record, vital for his application process. "Mr. Gus was a close companion, helping me shape a successful application strategy," he added.

According to the school's counseling expert, many parents only start thinking about college when their children reach 10th or 11th grade. However, for top universities, applications are a long-term process, evaluated based on academic performance, personal activities, skills, and growth over many years. At St. Paul, this journey begins in 1st grade, where students develop academic English, thinking skills, and character in a modern international environment.
"One of the main reasons I chose St. Paul was its inclusive, diverse environment that fully supports both students and teachers," said Irene, a parent.
Simultaneously, the school, located in western Hanoi, regularly organizes Vietnamese language and history classes, along with traditional activities, to help Vietnamese students preserve their cultural heritage. Thanks to the free English as a Second Language (ESL) program, international students can also quickly integrate into the multicultural community.
