This year's high school graduation exam took place on 26/6 and 27/6 with over 1.16 million candidates, an increase of nearly 100,000 compared to last year. Candidates following the new general education program (2018) took four exams. Literature and Math were compulsory. Two subjects were chosen from: Foreign Language, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, History, Geography, Economic and Legal Education, Informatics, and Technology (Agriculture, Industry).
English was the third and final exam.
Last year, when English was still a compulsory subject, over 560 students achieved perfect scores. Conversely, 145 students failed (scoring 1 or below). Nearly 42.7% of exam papers were below average. The average score was 5.51.
