The 2026 high school graduation literature exam has concluded, and here are the suggested answers to the questions.

For question one: According to the text, before 1440, knowledge was preserved in: libraries, monasteries, or behind the iron gates of castles (in the form of handwritten parchment books).

For question two: The sentence containing the evidence is: "If not for the First Folio editions published in 1443, classic plays like Macbeth or Hamlet might have vanished into thin air shortly after the velvet curtain of the Globe theater closed."

This afternoon, candidates will continue with the mathematics exam, a 90-minute multiple-choice test. On the morning of 12/6, they will complete the examination with two elective subjects.

The 2026 high school graduation exam scores will be announced on 1/7. Students can begin registering and adjusting their university admission preferences from 2-14/7. According to this year's admission regulations, regardless of the university admission method, candidates must achieve at least 15 graduation exam points across a combination of three subjects.

Last year, two candidates nationwide achieved a perfect 10 in literature, while seven received a 0. The average score was 7, a decrease of 0,23 points compared to the previous year. Over 99,000 exam papers scored approximately 7,25-7,5 points.
