TAS international school focuses on building a sustainable educational environment

The American School (TAS) is building a long-term vision that emphasizes sustainable academic quality, a multicultural environment, and a student-centered approach.

Entering a transformative phase under the leadership of CEO Van Xuan Thien, TAS has implemented a series of upgrades to its facilities, curriculum, and operating systems. The school aims to build a sustainable learning environment, preparing students for the future.

"We aim to be a leading American international school in Vietnam, where students learn in an inspiring environment, maximize their potential, and are prepared to become global citizens," affirmed the TAS CEO.

TAS is realizing this vision through several specific initiatives: strengthening the Academic Council with international experts, building an AP roadmap with a strategic academic orientation, operating based on data to increase transparency and efficiency, and expanding global partnerships to increase scholarship opportunities, exchange programs, and leadership development.

During the 2024-2025 academic year, The American School students received over 30 scholarships totaling more than 2 million USD from top universities in the US, Canada, Australia, and Europe, including the University of California - Berkeley, California - Davis, Toronto, Monash, Melbourne, and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

Simultaneously, TAS focuses on nurturing students' confidence, compassion, and resilience. With a student community from over 25 countries, the school fosters an open and friendly multicultural environment where students are welcomed and encouraged to grow. In addition, 85% of the teachers are from the US and the UK.

When she started 3rd grade, Seyuni, a student of British and Sri Lankan nationality, was a shy, quiet girl. After two years at TAS, she has become a confident, active MC with excellent academic achievements.

"We visited many schools, but TAS was the place that truly impressed both my husband and me, especially after being recommended by friends," shared Mrs. Lankika, Seyuni's mother.

Seyuni's father, Mr. Chathu, a senior manager at an international architecture firm, also stated that The American School has everything his family needs: facilities, location, and most importantly, a teaching staff who understand how to help students reach their full potential.

Located on a 25,000 m2 campus in An Phu, TAS international school boasts over 100 international-standard classrooms, numerous science labs, STEM creative spaces, a professional theater, a multi-purpose sports complex, and art and music studios. Here, students can explore, express, and develop academically, physically, artistically, emotionally, and in leadership skills.

At the same time, the school is committed to transparency in its policies and optimizing tuition fees to suit many Vietnamese families.
