On 24/4, Ben Cat ward leaders confirmed the information. This disciplinary measure is the third most severe for civil servants.
Previously, the Luong The Vinh Primary School Disciplinary Council convened and determined that the female teacher had physically assaulted students, violating school regulations and the code of conduct for educators.
Due to her difficult family circumstances, this being her first offense, and her voluntarily accepting responsibility, the school proposed a warning and reassignment to the equipment room. Nguyen Thi My Hanh, the principal, stated that the parents of the 5 students agreed with this decision.
"The disciplinary period is one year, during which the teacher will not perform duties involving direct contact with students. After that, depending on changes in her awareness and behavior, the school will make further assignments," said a Ben Cat ward leader.
About 10 days ago, 5 students in class 3.6 were talking during class and forgot to wear their scarves. Their homeroom teacher then instructed them to hold syringe needles and inject themselves in the hand. The incident came to light after a parent filed a complaint. Initial tests showed no blood-borne infectious diseases. All 5 students have since returned to school.

Primary school teachers are civil servants managed by the People's Committee at the commune/ward level. The Education Law stipulates that teachers must not insult the honor or physical well-being of learners. Depending on the severity, there are four forms of disciplinary action for violations: reprimand, warning, dismissal, or forced resignation.
