The signing ceremony between CMC University and Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School took place on 23/4, during the latter's visit to CMC University. This partnership will foster comprehensive cooperation in technology, innovation, artificial intelligence (AI), and semiconductor talent training, alongside establishing joint research projects.

The collaboration aligns with CMC University's future technology training and research direction. Professor Zuo Jian'e, Vice President of Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, noted that the university's key research areas, such as data science and information technology, are developed through an interdisciplinary model and offer significant potential for cooperation.
Beyond training cooperation, CMC University will recommend outstanding students to study at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School. This initiative aims to provide Vietnamese students with access to an international academic environment, enhancing their competitiveness. Both institutions will also promote short-term exchange programs, including international semesters, summer, and winter programs, to enrich students' international learning experiences.

Associate Professor Doctor Nguyen Thanh Tung, President of CMC University, affirmed that this partnership is a strategic step to develop a digital university model and foster innovation, integrating with CMC's institute-university-enterprise ecosystem. "Both parties aim to develop R&D models linked with businesses, especially in artificial intelligence and digital transformation," Mr. Tung added.
This agreement occurs as educational and research cooperation between Vietnam and Trung Quoc strengthens, particularly in technology, artificial intelligence, and high-quality human resource training. As part of its Vietnam visit, Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School met and collaborated with 4 universities in Hanoi: Vietnam National University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, National Economics University, and CMC University.
The groundwork for this signing was laid during a visit by CMC University leaders to Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School in Trung Quoc on 10/4.
Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (Tsinghua SIGS) is Tsinghua University's only branch campus outside Beijing, specializing in master's and doctoral programs. Its key training areas include artificial intelligence, biomedical engineering, and new materials.
