The 2026 high school graduation examination took place over two days, 11-12/6, drawing a record number of over 1,2 million candidates across nearly 2,500 test centers nationwide. The literature exam, held on the morning of 11/6, presented a contemporary theme, challenging students to explore the influence of technology on the world.

Following the literature subject, candidates sat for the mathematics exam in the afternoon of 11/6, a 90-minute multiple-choice test. On the morning of 12/6, students took two elective subjects from a diverse list including: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, History, Economic and Legal Education, Informatics, Technology, and Foreign Languages (English, German, Russian, Japanese, French, Chinese, Korean).
Scores for the 2026 high school graduation exam are slated for release on the morning of 1/7. Students will have from 2-14/7 to register and adjust their university admission aspirations. According to this year's admission regulations, all candidates, regardless of their chosen university admission method, must achieve a minimum graduation exam score of 15 points across a three-subject combination.
Looking back at last year's results, two candidates nationwide achieved a perfect 10 in the literature subject, while seven students received 0 points. The national average score was 7, marking a decrease of 0,23 points compared to 2024. Notably, more than 99,000 candidates scored between 7,25 and 7,5 points.
