English Pedagogy led with 28,12 points, closely followed by Chinese Pedagogy with 28,11 points. Last year, these two majors also topped the list, but with perfect scores of 30/30.
Korean Pedagogy and Japanese Pedagogy both had admission thresholds above 27 points. Other majors generally saw scores ranging from 23 to 25 points. The lowest admission threshold was for Arabic Language, at 21,05 points.

ULIS has set an enrollment target of 2,400 students for 2026. The university employs four admission methods: direct admission, independent high school graduation exam scores, a combination of IELTS and other foreign language certificates, and results from the HSA competency assessment exam administered by Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
Projected tuition fees for the 2026 intake at the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, are VND 31 million per year for programs such as Russian, Arabic, Transnational Culture and Communication, and Vietnamese Language and Culture. For English, French, Chinese, German, Japanese, and Korean Language majors, the tuition is VND 42 million per year.
