University of Social Sciences and Humanities sets admission floor score at 19

All undergraduate programs at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) have set their minimum admission score at 19, the combined score of three subjects, one point lower than last year.

This score includes bonus points and priority points, according to the university's announcement on the afternoon of 21/7.

For applicants using the Hanoi National University's High School Assessment (HSA) results, the floor score is converted to a 30-point scale, also set at 19 (without multiplication factor and inclusive of any bonus or priority points).

In 2025, USSH plans to admit 2,650 students into 28 undergraduate programs through three admission methods: direct admission and priority admission; xet tuyen based on the HSA results; and xet tuyen based on the 2025 national high school graduation exam scores.

The university expects tuition fees to range from 16.9 million to 33 million VND (Vietnamese Dong), an increase of 1.9 million to 3 million VND compared to the current rates.

Eight subject combinations are accepted: C00 (Literature, History, Geography), D04 (Math, Literature, Chinese), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D06 (Math, Literature, Japanese), DD2 (Math, Literature, Korean), D15 (Literature, English, Geography), D14 (Literature, English, History), and D66 (Literature, English, Economic Education and Law).

Last year, USSH's admission scores ranged from 22.95 to 29.1, with the highest for Public Relations under the C00 combination.

Prospective students can register, adjust, and supplement their university application choices an unlimited number of times until 5 PM on 28/7. They can then submit their application fees online from 29/7 to 5 PM on 5/8.

Students can visit VnExpress's University Search page to see the fluctuation of admission scores over the years by program and university. The system also suggests programs and universities that had admission scores close to the students' scores in each subject combination last year.

The 2025 university admission scores will be announced before 5 PM on 22/8.
