The school's educational philosophy, "learn. make. matter.", aims to foster a strong academic foundation, independent thinking, and the ability to apply technology to solve problems and create societal value. The "learn" pillar emphasizes mastering knowledge, independent thinking, a proactive approach, and experiential learning. Students will delve into subjects such as mathematics, science, language arts, social sciences, and the arts.
For higher grade levels, the curriculum expands to include advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and computing, engineering, biomedical science, entrepreneurship, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses, aligning with the advanced curriculum of the US education system. VERTA's interdisciplinary program connects knowledge across various fields, enabling students to approach problems from multiple perspectives and independently find solutions.
The "make" pillar focuses on transforming knowledge into practical skills. Students are guided to develop ideas from initial questions, build designs, conduct experiments, receive feedback, and refine their products. This approach aims to cultivate their ability to think critically, design solutions, and create verifiable outcomes. The "matter" pillar encourages students to apply their knowledge to solve real-world problems and generate tangible value. The learning process is integrated with real-world data, experts, and users, providing students with opportunities to test their solutions and receive practical feedback.
Vingroup's extensive ecosystem, encompassing universities, research centers, healthcare facilities, technology companies, industrial units, green transportation initiatives, and urban developments, offers a unique practical environment. This rich network allows students to connect their classroom learning directly with various aspects of real-life application.
Phan Ha Thuy, chairwoman of VS Company, the entity developing the VERTA education system within Vingroup, highlighted the school's commitment to equipping students with a robust academic foundation. This preparation will enable them to pursue demanding university programs and develop strong research, reasoning, and design capabilities, transforming ideas into tangible products. She stated, "more importantly, upon leaving VERTA, students will be able to learn new things independently, form their own judgments, and take responsibility for their choices."

VERTA's curriculum is delivered entirely in English and follows a US-oriented educational model. Initially, teachers will play a primary role in building students' foundational knowledge, study habits, and learning methods. As students mature and establish a stronger base, the school will progressively increase their autonomy, empowering them to explore their strengths, select advanced subjects, define research questions, and undertake long-term projects.
Leading the school is doctor Tarek Razik, an educator with over 35 years of international experience, having previously served as principal at Jakarta Intercultural School and International School of Beijing. The international teaching staff will be meticulously selected based on their professional standards and experience, ensuring alignment with the curriculum.
With its strong emphasis on academic knowledge, artificial intelligence, technology, and practical application, VERTA provides an additional US-oriented educational option for Vietnamese students. It also caters to the educational needs of international families residing in Ha Noi and the surrounding regions.
