When will the ministry of education announce the 2026 graduation exam answers?

The ministry of education will wait for 34 provinces and cities to finish scanning multiple-choice exam papers before announcing the graduation exam answers, expected in the next 5-7 days.

Professor Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Quality Management Department, Ministry of Education and Training, shared this information at a press conference on the 2026 high school graduation exam on the afternoon of 12/6.

He stated that on average, the ministry will announce the answers for all subjects approximately 5-7 days after the exam. This timeframe allows 34 localities to complete scanning multiple-choice exam papers onto the grading system, ensuring security.

Last year, the answers were also announced about 10 days after the exam concluded.

The 2026 high school graduation exam took place on 11-12/6, involving over 1,2 million candidates. Candidates will receive their graduation exam scores on the morning of 1/7 and can then register for university admissions until 14/7.

According to the 2026 admissions regulations, regardless of the university admission method, candidates must achieve a combined graduation exam score of 15 or higher for three subjects in their chosen combination. Admission results will be available after 17h on 9/8.
