According to St Headline, 37-year-old Vuong Thanh Ha was released on 7/7 after serving 18 months. Li Longji presented her with 60 roses, signifying his longing for her every second. "It's alright now," the actor said. "From now on, she's free and no longer afraid."
Li Longji revealed he had prepared for her homecoming with traditional celebratory items and prayers for good fortune. "The past 18 months felt incredibly long, especially for someone as cherished as Thanh Ha," he shared. "It pained me to see her suffer. Now, I just want her to let go of the pressure and forget the past."
Li Longji believes everyone makes mistakes and that Vuong Thanh Ha has grown from this experience. The actor has prepared their home in mainland China for her return.

Vuong Thanh Ha was arrested in 2/2024 for using fake US university diplomas to gain preferential entry into Hong Kong. In June 2024, she was sentenced to 25 months in prison for seven offenses, including using false documents and providing false information to Hong Kong immigration authorities, and overstaying her visa. She pleaded guilty and accepted the sentence, but was released early.
During a prison visit in March, Li Longji proposed, and Vuong Thanh Ha accepted. He said they exchanged frequent letters, with Thanh Ha writing him a total of 410.

The couple has been together since 2018. Li Longji, a familiar face on Hong Kong television, has been acting since the 1980s, appearing in TVB productions such as The Return of the Condor Heroes (1983) (as Wang Chongyang), The Bund, The Smiling, Proud Wanderer (1996) (as Ngoc But Ong), Journey to the West (1996) (as the Jade Emperor), Miao Cuihua, Justice Sung, At the Threshold of an Era, Heaven Sword and Dragon Slaying Sabre (2000) (as Song Yuanqiao), Beyond the Realm of Conscience 2, Forensic Heroes IV (2020), and Barrack O'Karma 1968. In addition to acting, Li Longji is also a singer.
