In a video posted on her social media on 19/8, the 59-year-old actress said there was a time when she wondered what her life would be like if she got married and had children, and whether it would be better. After some reflection, Lee concluded that her current situation is the best arrangement that life has offered her, and she cherishes it.
Currently, Lee isn't dating anyone, nor does she want to find a boyfriend or start a new relationship. When a colleague asked if she would be open to someone younger asking her out, the actress replied that she had dated younger men before, but those relationships didn't lead anywhere. She admitted to once being "madly, blindly in love" to the point of abandoning her career. Now, however, she has changed and prefers to enjoy the fulfillment that her work brings.
Lee celebrated her birthday on 16/8. In an interview with Nanfang Weekly, she said that in her 30s, she had many worries. Now in her 50s, she finds herself more clear-headed, which allows her to understand herself better and feel increasingly at peace and comfortable. Lee's goal is to still be able to work out at the gym in her 70s and 80s.
