Fans greet rapper Kid Laroi in Hanoi

The Kid Laroi, performing at the 8Wonder music festival, shared a photo of Vietnamese fans waiting five hours for him at Noi Bai International Airport on the evening of 19/8.

The flight carrying The Kid Laroi from Australia to Noi Bai for the 8Wonder Summer 2025: Moments of Wonder landed at 9:55 PM on 19/8. After about 20 minutes of immigration procedures, the 22-year-old rapper emerged, attracting the attention of all cameras.

The rapper sported his usual casual attire: a plain tank top, sweatpants, an overshirt, and a baseball cap. He continuously interacted and chatted with his team as they moved towards the car.

Many fans ran to take photos and chat with Kid Laroi. The rapper was seen as friendly and cheerful as he bent down to shake hands with fans.

The Australian rapper was surprised and touched to learn that a male fan had waited for him at the airport for five hours. This fan had admired Kid Laroi since he was a teenager starting his career, knew his debut EP, 14 With a Dream, by heart, and many of his hits throughout his eight years in the music industry.

Cameras captured the moment the young star embraced the Vietnamese fan in gratitude.

Kid Laroi took a photo of the male fan with his phone and then posted it on his Instagram story, receiving numerous interactions.

After greeting and interacting with Vietnamese fans, Kid Laroi quickly moved to the car and headed to his hotel.

At 13, he and DJ Ladykiller formed the duo Dream Team, performing at local venues. After the group disbanded, he signed with ART Management. In 2018, he released his debut EP, 14 With a Dream, and reached the finals of Triple J Unearthed, a launchpad for young talent in Australia.

The artist is loved globally for many hits, including Stay, a collaboration with Justin Bieber, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for six consecutive weeks and stayed in the Top 10 for a total of 17 weeks. The song Without You (remix with Miley Cyrus) also became a sensation, garnering massive views. His EP Fck Love 3 (Over You) once topped the Billboard 200.

8Wonder Summer 2025: Moments of Wonder will take place on 23/8 at the National Exhibition Construction Center (Cau Tu Lien Street, Dong Anh commune, Hanoi). In addition to The Kid Laroi, the concert features a lineup of international and local stars: DJ Snake, J Balvin, DPR IAN, Soobin, Hoa Minzy, t linh, and Trong Hieu. The organizers highlight the message "Where Local Beats Become Global Wonders," creating opportunities for Vietnamese artists to showcase their identity and creativity on the same stage as international stars.
