Her life is turned upside down when an airplane crashes to the ocean floor, initiating an adventurous journey with her friends.

Producers state the film draws inspiration from marine life, exploring themes of courage and connection. The storyline blends elements of action, humor, and emotion, targeting family audiences.
Bong Joon Ho co-wrote the script with Jason Yu, director and screenwriter of the film "Sleep", which starred Lee Sun Kyun. Seo Woo Sik serves as producer, marking his third collaboration with Bong after "Mother" and "Okja". The film is expected to be completed in the first half of 2027 and released globally the same year.
The project brings together a production team from 12 countries. Animation supervisor Jae Hyung Kim previously worked on "Toy Story 4" and "Inside Out". Production supervisor David Lipman comes from the "Shrek" series, and art designer Marcin Jakubowski contributed to "Klaus". Visual effects company DNEG, known for "Inception" and "Dune", is handling the 3D animation.

Bong Joon Ho, 57, is widely recognized for "Parasite" (2019), which won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 4/2019. The film went on to win over 200 awards and achieved significant success at the 2020 Oscars, securing four awards including Best Picture. His other notable works include "Memories of Murder" (2003), "The Host" (2006), and "Mother" (2009). His most recent project, "Mickey 17", starring Robert Pattinson, was released last year.
