Luxury travel and lifestyle brand Tumi recently unveiled its spring 2026 'Mediterranean Escape' collection at an exclusive event in Koh Samui, Thailand. Held from 28-30/3, the launch attracted over 80 artists and guests, including DAFC CEO Tien Nguyen and Thai-British actress Becky Armstrong.
Designed as a luxurious weekend getaway, the 'Mediterranean Escape' event immersed attendees in the tranquil beauty of Koh Samui, Thailand's third largest island. The collection itself draws inspiration from the Mediterranean, featuring vibrant new hues and materials that mark a significant shift from Tumi's traditional muted color palette. It also highlights advancements in both its women's product lines and lifestyle offerings.

Among the notable attendees were actor Blue Pongtiwat and singer-actress Janhae Ployshompoo, who posed amidst the colorful display. Washed yellow and pink clay emerged as two prominent colors for the season, reflecting the collection's lively spirit. Actor Dunk Natachai showcased a new spring 2026 item, pairing a white shirt and khaki pants with a Harrison crossbody bag crafted from woven material.
The collection reimagines familiar Tumi designs, including the 19 Degree suitcase, Voyageur backpack, and Harrison bag, with a fresh aesthetic. Complementing these main pieces is a range of accessories: from decorative bag charms and glasses cases to refined leather goods.
Victor Sanz, Tumi's global creative director, guided guests through an immersive experience, evoking the charm of a Mediterranean coastal town. This vision was brought to life with elements like the blue of rosemary, sun-baked terracotta tones, and bright yellow accents.
Following the collection's unveiling, guests enjoyed a sunset cocktail party, dinner, and a lively beach celebration featuring fire performances and a DJ. From left: Becky Armstrong, Mile Phakphum, and Blue Pongtiwat.
