Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung, 45, recently announced on the Iqiyi reality show "All the Way to Splendor" (20/12) that she has finalized plans for the distribution of her assets with her lawyer after her passing. While traditional beliefs often view such preparations as "unlucky," Cheung expressed her belief that "not doing it early is even unluckier."
Cheung explained her motivation, stating, "I do not want people to engage in unseemly behavior for money after I pass away. Everyone will leave this world one day; I have already chosen my funeral portrait and attire." She views drafting a will early as a responsible act towards her loved ones.

The actress is a mother to three sons and has a family including parents and siblings. She shares her first two children with actor Nicholas Tse but has kept the identity of her third child's father private.
Currently, Cheung is embroiled in a legal dispute with film producer Yu Yuk Hing and AEG Entertainment company. The producer and company are suing Cheung for breach of contract, alleging a violation of their collaboration agreement from 2011 until before 2019. Conversely, Cecilia Cheung claims that Yu Yuk Hing forged her signature to compel her to act in AEG Entertainment's films.
