The World Culture Festival in Hanoi opened on the evening of 1/10 at Thang Long Imperial Citadel, marking a vibrant celebration of global and local heritage. The festival, themed "Heritage Convergence - Future Creation", runs from 1/10 to 4/10, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of Vietnam's admission to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The opening night's art program invited attendees to explore ethnic identity across various regions, starting with a light show and a performance combining musical instruments, recreating the unique features of ancient Thang Long.

This year's World Culture Festival in Hanoi is extensive, featuring 45 cultural spaces, 35 food stalls, film screenings from 18 registered countries, and 19 international art troupes with 220 artists from five continents. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Hanoi People's Committee organized the event, which first took place in 2025. The festival introduced various activities in cinema, fashion, cuisine, and honored the reading culture of Vietnam and many countries worldwide.
