According to Page Six, a TikTok video posted on 22/7 went viral showing Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek, wife of billionaire François-Henri Pinault, on a commercial flight from Mexico City to Veracruz state last weekend. The video shows the two actresses dressed casually, chatting comfortably with each other. While waiting in line to board the plane, they declined a fan's request for a photo. However, they greeted other fans and posed for pictures in the dining area.
Hola reported that Xochil Molina, the Veracruz State Director of Culture, greeted them upon arrival at Heriberto Jara Corona International Airport. They then traveled to a luxury hotel in Boca del Rio. The state governor, Rocio Nahle, confirmed a brief meeting with the two stars, expressing her pleasure at meeting fellow Mexican-American actress Salma Hayek.
Many people wondered why Jolie and Hayek were on a commercial flight. They assumed A-list celebrities and billionaires, like Hayek, typically use private jets. Some speculated the actresses might be involved in a promotional activity. Their schedules have not been publicly released.
