This marks the fourth consecutive year Galaxy Play has been on the winners list, highlighting its impact on Vietnam's online content development, particularly in exclusive series and digital viewing experiences.
Galaxy Play received the Series Production - Vietnam award for "Vo hien moi ac". The platform's latest exclusive psychological series, "Vo hien moi ac", delves into modern tales of marriage, betrayal, and revenge. It garnered 200 million views within one month of its release.
Galaxy's content ecosystem offers diverse genres, catering to the varied entertainment needs of Vietnamese families. The platform recently launched "Cuoc xe am phu", an exclusive horror-thriller series featuring a popular cast from "Mua do" and "Dia dao". Additionally, Galaxy Play is preparing to commence production on two action series and the psychological series "Gai ngan do 3".
Beyond the content award, the OTT platform - Vietnam category recognized Galaxy Play's growth as an entertainment hub for multi-generational audiences. The platform has expanded its content catalog beyond Vietnamese, Asian, and cinema films, and original series, to cater to various age groups. Notably, Galaxy Anime launched, offering exclusive distribution of the Crunchyroll film library in Vietnam. This package includes over 500 anime titles and more than 6,000 hours of content, featuring Vietnamese subtitles, no advertisements, and simultaneous updates with Japan. Galaxy Anime demonstrates the platform's ambition to broaden its young user base and establish a new content pillar alongside Vietnamese feature films and series.
From original series projects to its expansion into anime, Galaxy Play is evolving from a streaming platform into a diverse content ecosystem. A company representative stated, "The two APB+ 2026 awards reflect the continuous expansion of a Vietnamese OTT platform within an increasingly competitive streaming market."
