In addition to H'Hen Nie, the event was attended by Runner-up Vu Hoang My (left) and MC, Runner-up Hoang Oanh (second from right).

Designer Do Long discussed introducing children to books. He mentioned that his daughter, baby Sunny, 16 months old, started looking at illustrated books and pictures from 5-6 months old, and he regularly converses and interacts with her to expand her vocabulary.

Miss H'Hen Nie recently visited Tay Son Secondary and High School in Thanh Son commune, Dong Nai, on 29/3, to promote reading and inspire students. During the event, themed "Books Spreading Dreams", the former Miss Universe Vietnam unexpectedly invited a student to join her on the runway, captivating over 1,200 cheering students.

The highlight of the event was when H'Hen Nie, participating in the handover ceremony of a new bookshelf for the school library, invited Nguyen Van Thinh, a student from grade 8A2, to catwalk with her on the schoolyard. This spontaneous act garnered immense enthusiasm from the audience, embodying her message of self-confidence and expression. "I always encourage young people to confidently express themselves," she remarked after the impromptu walk.

During her interaction, H'Hen Nie shared her personal journey from a village in Dak Lak to becoming Miss Universe Vietnam 2017. She emphasized the profound impact of reading on her life, highlighting how books helped her learn languages, develop critical thinking, nurture dreams, and navigate various difficulties. She encouraged students to embrace reading: "Good books will help you discover many interesting and beneficial things, guiding you to find your passion and a suitable path for your studies. I hope you all study well and regularly visit the library to read."

The beauty queen also recommended "The Greatest Salesman in the World" by Og Mandino, a book that significantly influenced her during her early years of study and life in Ho Chi Minh City. "During my university years, when I worked as a house helper, the homeowner gave me this book. Its messages of perseverance, faith, and discipline helped shape my perspective on life," she explained.

H'Hen Nie further engaged with students through a book-signing session and direct Q&A. Many students posed questions about overcoming insecurity, maintaining study motivation, and pursuing their passions. She also participated in the "My Favorite Book" segment, where five students shared short presentations about works such as "How the Steel Was Tempered", "Dang Thuy Tram's Diary", and "Give Me a Ticket to Childhood". H'Hen Nie, along with Runner-up Vu Hoang My and designer Do Long, presented gifts to the participating students.

H'Hen Nie, 34 years old, was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2017. She later competed in Miss Universe 2018, reaching the top 5, the highest ranking achieved by a Vietnamese contestant in this international beauty pageant. In 2019, Missosology, a beauty pageant specialized website, awarded her the "Timeless Beauty" title. She has also served as a coach for the first season of The Next Face Vietnam and as a judge for Miss Universe Vietnam 2022. Her acting career includes a debut project as an action star in "578: The Madman's Bullet". Early last year, she announced her marriage to photographer Tuan Khoi, 37 years old, after seven years of dating. Tuan Khoi typically works behind the scenes on TV commercials and rarely attends showbiz events.

The event also featured a segment introducing "My Favorite Book". Five students gave short presentations about works such as: "How the Steel Was Tempered", "Dang Thuy Tram's Diary", and "Give Me a Ticket to Childhood", with Miss H'Hen Nie, Runner-up Vu Hoang My, and designer Do Long presenting gifts.
