Late 2025, Hoang Oanh shared a series of travel photos from Slovakia, Patrik Le Giang's homeland. In some photos, she wore a jacket with a similar style and pattern to an outfit the goalkeeper had previously worn.

Goalkeeper Patrik Le Giang, 34 years old, was born in Lucenec, Banska Bystrica region, Slovakia. His father is Vietnamese, and his mother is Slovak. Patrik Le Giang currently plays for Cong an TP HCM Club. Hoang Oanh, full name Vu Ngoc Hoang Oanh, 36 years old, was a runner-up in the Miss Women of Vietnam through Photo 2012 pageant. The beauty has appeared in several films, including Thang nam ruc ro, Uoc hen mua thu, and Ba vo cuoi vo ba.

After divorcing her American husband in 2022, she kept her love life private, dedicating her time to work and caring for her son, who is now six years old. Earlier this year, fans noticed Hoang Oanh beginning to give subtle hints about being in a new relationship. She frequently shared moments with her partner on her personal page but concealed his identity and face.

Fans repeatedly discovered coincidences between images posted by Hoang Oanh and Patrik Le Giang. On Valentine's Day, the runner-up shared a photo holding her boyfriend's hand, showing him wearing a watch and a rubber bracelet—an accessory Patrik often uses. She wrote: "Feels like coming home. Thank you universe for being here."

In an interview with Ngoi Sao in mid-May, Hoang Oanh confirmed she was in a relationship but did not mention her partner by name. The runner-up stated that she values her partner because he not only loves her but also cares for her entire family.

Since mid-July, Hoang Oanh has regularly attended matches to watch and cheer for Patrik Le Giang. On 18/7, after a game at Thai Nguyen Stadium, Patrik Le Giang walked to the stands where Hoang Oanh was seated and gave her his jersey.

Many friends and colleagues have noted Hoang Oanh's refreshed demeanor. She expresses happiness through her eyes and smile. Previously, the breakdown of her marriage had caused her pain. However, after about one year, Hoang Oanh says she has gradually regained balance in her life, work, and role as a single mother.
