On 3/8, Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc announced her charity project and preparations for the 73rd Miss World competition, an event being held in Vietnam for the first time. She will join 130 contestants from around the world on 8/8 for nearly a month of various competition segments.
Bao Ngoc's parents traveled from Can Tho City to TP HCM to congratulate and encourage her. Sharing about their daughter publicly for the first time, Nguyen Thi Thu Hai, Bao Ngoc's mother, expressed emotion seeing her daughter's growing maturity. Both parents work in the medical field, and their busy schedules meant they couldn't always closely monitor her studies. However, Bao Ngoc rarely caused her parents concern. She has a passion for learning foreign languages, once asking her mother if she could save money for language classes instead of buying clothes or toys. "Seeing her determination, our family tried to create the best conditions for her to pursue her passion," Bao Ngoc's mother said.
During times when Bao Ngoc faced personal and professional challenges, her family was always there to offer encouragement. Her parents happily noted her strength in her twenties. As she embarks on her Miss World journey, they hope she maintains her health, showcases her full potential, and spreads positive energy.
Listening to her parents, Bao Ngoc said: "I will strive to be worthy of the name my parents gave me. 'Ngoc' must be polished to shine."

The design draws inspiration from the natural landscapes of the Dao ethnic people in Vietnam's Northwest region when the ban flowers bloom. Bao Ngoc extended a welcome in English to the contestants soon to arrive in Vietnam, expressing her hope to be a bridge to introduce the country's beauty to international friends.
