Beauty queen Huong Giang, in collaboration with the team behind the reality show "Wow Ho Chi Minh City", hosted a "welcome dinner" at the Grand Saigon hotel, one day after her fan meeting. Huong Giang and her guests, including Vanessa Pulgarin, Miss Grand All Stars 2026; Emma Mary Francisco, Miss Grand International 2025; Praveena, Miss Universe Thailand 2025; CJ Opiaza, Miss Grand International 2024; and Mr. Nawat, president of Miss Grand International, engaged in conversation and took souvenir photos.

The event also drew many domestic artists, such as supermodel Xuan Lan, beauty queen Le Hoang Phuong, runner-up Vu Thuy Quynh, male models Nguyen Han Viet, Vinh Dam, Anh Kiet, and content creators Thay Beo U40, Pham Thoai, Huy Forum.

Huong Giang shared that she chose the historic Grand Saigon venue and invited chefs to prepare many signature Vietnamese dishes. Grand Saigon, established in 1930, is one of the five-star hotels belonging to Saigontourist Group, alongside Caravelle Saigon and Majestic Saigon. These three hotels also serve as accommodation for the international celebrities during their working visits to Vietnam.

Moreover, images of Grand Saigon, Caravelle Saigon, and Majestic Saigon hotels appear sequentially in the first four episodes of "Wow Ho Chi Minh City". This show is part of the VietNamLove project, produced by T Production, which aims to commemorate the 50-year milestone of Saigon - Gia Dinh being named after President Ho Chi Minh.

The show comprises 20 episodes, airing every friday at 9 PM and sunday at 10 PM on HTV7 and YouTube T Production. Each episode features a celebrity guide and guests, designed as a "personalized city tour" to help viewers experience and explore the culture and tourism of Ho Chi Minh City.

After four episodes, the program has received positive feedback, landing on the trending list. In episode one, actress Kha Nhu served as the guide, with Ngo Kien Huy and beauty queen Doan Thien An as guests. The three explored cuisine and culture at various familiar destinations. In episode two, actor Steven Nguyen introduced the couple Ninh Duong Story (Ninh Anh Bui, Nguyen Tung Duong) and beauty queen Le Hoang Phuong to many of the city's iconic landmarks.

In episode three, guide Khanh Van, along with two guests Dieu Nhi and Minh Du, experienced entertainment and shopping spots. For episode 4, Steven Nguyen returned as a guide, leading "older brother" Lohan, Nham Phuong Nam, and runner-up Mai Ngo to check in at historical landmarks.

Director and producer Tran Thanh Trung stated his desire to tell the story of a dynamic, modern city rich in cultural depth. "We hope the footage from 'Wow Ho Chi Minh City' will authentically portray a different and appealing perspective of Ho Chi Minh City, reflecting the spirit of 2026." Previously, he and his colleagues achieved success with a similar format, "Viet Nam Tuoi Dep" (Beautiful Vietnam), which attracted hundreds of artists.

A Saigontourist representative praised the concept, believing the program would generate positive media attention, stimulate tourism, and promote Ho Chi Minh City as a friendly, attractive, and constantly evolving destination.

During this period, T Production launched the "Wow with Ho Chi Minh City" activity, offering audiences the chance to participate and become media ambassadors. The organizers will accept valid videos/clips that include: the phrase "Wow Ho Chi Minh City"; posting a vlog/review video on social media platforms (following the show's itinerary or suggesting other locations in Ho Chi Minh City); and including the hashtag #WOWHoChiMinhCity. In addition to 100 million dong in prizes, participants have the opportunity to become guests in one of the remaining episodes.

At the end of June, T Production also released the song "Thanh Pho Tuyet Voi" (Wonderful City), composed by Tung Maru and performed by the four talented artists Jun Pham, Hoang Ton, Thai VG, and Ho Dong Quan.

Established in 2010, T Production has made its mark with shows like "Viet Nam Tuoi Dep", "Mot Chuyen Di" (A Trip), and released many albums and music videos praising love for the homeland. In mid-2025, the unit launched the VietNamLove project, receiving the "Inspiration" award at the WeChoice Awards the same year.
