On 17/9, Rayli magazine released a trailer featuring the star in a photoshoot commemorating its 31st anniversary. Jing Tian, dressed in an evening gown, posed against a red wall and near a pagoda. The images, styled with a nostalgic flair, captured her in a pensive mood.
According to Sohu, Jing Tian's modeling work signals that her career in the entertainment industry has not been significantly impacted by the scandal. The actress has two films awaiting release, though their premiere dates have not yet been announced.

A source indicated that the star remained composed despite the potential damage to her public image. During the recent period, she limited public appearances and refrained from updating her social media.
In late August, Jing Tian became the focus of social media discussions after billionaire Sun Yuchen sued her and her parents, demanding the return of a 30 million yuan dowry (approximately 4.5 million USD). Sun Yuchen, also known as Justin Sun, is the founder of the Tron blockchain network. Forbes estimates his net worth at 8.5 billion USD.
The entrepreneur also published a 6,000-character essay titled "My Girlfriend, Jing Tian", detailing their relationship. The essay described how the actress allegedly spent his money and made demands. Sun Yuchen claimed Jing Tian requested 50 million USD to hire a surrogate, based on AI advice. When he refused the transfer, she reportedly left him.
Sun Yuchen labeled the essay's content as "fictional", yet in an interview with Tech Ifeng, he was ambiguous about its veracity. He stated, "Most of the content aligns with my thoughts. I used 'fictional' because I cannot guarantee 100% of the details are true. However, I wrote exactly what I thought, including my concerns."
In the days following the revelations, Jing Tian received numerous comments, both mocking and supportive. Some viewers criticized her, suggesting she was "greedy for money for accepting a dowry without returning it, lacking self-respect". Others condemned Sun Yuchen for publicizing a woman's private life and relationship affairs, expressing support for Jing Tian. Her follower count increased by hundreds of thousands after the scandal.

Jing Tian has been reserved regarding her ex-boyfriend's actions. On her personal social media page, the actress wrote that she would never "sell out love" for money. The star admitted she did not have a good judge of character.
A representative from Jing Tian's management company issued a statement: "Honor is vital for an artist, yet it is also their vulnerability. However, we have the courage to say 'No' to those who exploit this to oppress artists. We trust the law and will adhere to legal procedures in handling this matter."
