On the afternoon of 16/9, actor Truong Giang announced his decision to withdraw from the reality TV show "2 Days 1 Night". This move comes after much consideration, aiming to prevent any negative impact on the production crew and his fellow cast members.
"After discussing with the producer, I requested not to continue filming for the upcoming episodes," Truong Giang stated. He added that he wishes to take this time to reflect and learn.

The actor has been embroiled in controversy for nearly two weeks. Audiences repeatedly resurfaced old videos showing him engaging in actions deemed "inappropriate" with many colleagues, particularly female ones. Most of these debated videos were clips from various game shows. Critics accused Truong Giang of "using too much force" with several artists and being "overly intimate" during interactions with female colleagues. His past romantic relationships also became a renewed subject of public discussion. Tens of thousands of social media posts made the actor a central target of criticism.
On the evening of 14/9, Truong Giang publicly acknowledged his lack of subtlety and maturity, admitting these shortcomings led to some poor choices. He issued an apology to "those who were hurt" by his actions.
Truong Giang, whose full name is Vo Vu Truong Giang, is 43 years old and hails from Da Nang (formerly Quang Nam). He rose to prominence with his role as Muoi Kho in the "Buoc chan mien Trung" live show in 2011. Since 2015, he has built an extensive career, participating in numerous reality TV shows, performing on comedy stages, hosting programs, and starring in films such as "49 Ngay", "Taxi Em Ten Gi?", "Sieu Sao Sieu Ngo", and "30 Chua Phai Tet".
Over his 15-year career, Truong Giang has received several accolades. He was honored as Favorite Stage Actor and Favorite Comedian at the Mai Vang Awards 2016, and as Most Favorite Film Actor at the Ngoi Sao Xanh Awards 2018.
He married Nha Phuong in 9/2018 after a four-year relationship. The couple welcomed their first daughter in 1/2019, followed by their second child four years later.
