Following FIFA President Gianni Infantino's confirmation, singer Justin Bieber stated, "The World Cup connects the world in a way no other event can. I am grateful to be part of the program, and it's even more meaningful as the event helps expand educational opportunities for children."
In addition to Bieber, Burna Boy, the Nigerian artist who collaborated with Shakira on the song "Dai Dai", is also scheduled to perform. The event will also feature Gustavo Dudamel, the Venezuelan conductor and music director of the New York Philharmonic. Furthermore, the band Coldplay will perform a joint act with the PS 22 children's choir.

According to Gianni Infantino, the artists will convey messages of unity and hope to billions of global viewers. "The program celebrates football, music, and shared values, creating a legacy that extends beyond the final whistle," the FIFA President said.
Previously, FIFA announced Madonna, Shakira, and BTS as performers for the halftime show, which is expected to last approximately 11 minutes. Chris Martin, a member of Coldplay, is staging the program, which aims to raise funds for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. The fund seeks to mobilize 100 million USD to expand access to education and football for children worldwide. Currently, the fund has over 50 million USD, with one USD from each World Cup ticket contributing to its total.
This year, the World Cup has been dynamic from its initial days, with three opening ceremonies held across the three co-host nations: the US, Mexico, and Canada. A lineup of artists, including Shakira, Katy Perry, Lisa, and others, energized the opening events. Currently, 8 teams have advanced to the quarterfinals: France, Morocco, Spain, Belgium, Norway, England, Argentina, and Switzerland.
