One year after her divorce, Kim Hien found peace in her life. The actress and her two children currently reside in a villa in Fountain Valley, California. She often starts her day by walking her pets along the road leading to a nearby beach or exercising. "Each day, after taking my children to school, I return to my private workspace to monitor the stock market, real estate, and seek investment opportunities," Kim Hien shared.

Kim Hien dedicates the rest of her day to personal interests, such as gardening, home decorating, and reading. During her beach walks, she often collects seashells to string into decorative chains for her windowsills. "Seeing the flower buds in my garden bloom daily or admiring items I've crafted myself brings me joy and a sense of peace," she stated.
For nearly three years, guided by close acquaintances, she ventured into financial investments and found success. This stable income allows her to comfortably manage her living expenses and support her children's education. "I feel more confident now because I am financially independent and can purchase items I like without much hesitation," Kim Hien explained.
Kim Hien maintains a friendly relationship with her ex-husband, co-parenting their daughter, Yvona, age 11. Her eldest son, age 21, is a university student living independently. Kim Hien regards her children as invaluable assets, considering them her little friends with whom she shares daily conversations about work and life. For her, the greatest joy is watching her two children live affectionately, loving each other, and consistently preparing small gifts for her on holidays and birthdays.
At age 44, Kim Hien views life with more ease. She considers past challenges as lessons that shaped her into who she is today. The actress embraces a slower lifestyle, prioritizing quality relationships and individuals who bring joy and security. "I am no longer seeking personal happiness or relying on others. Every day, I remind myself to show more self-love," she shared.
Having stepped away from acting for an extended period, Kim Hien admitted she misses her profession and hopes for compelling roles in the future. While awaiting her return to the screen, she plans to visit Vietnam to engage in charitable activities, assisting underprivileged child patients.
