Singers wade through mud to plant trees at Van Long Wetland

This activity aims to create a habitat for wetland flora and fauna, part of the Forestival 2026 music festival, which will take place on the evening of 30/5 at Binh Minh Square. The concert features singers Ha Anh Tuan, Den, Hieuthuhai, DJ 2pillz, Nguyen Hung, Phung Khanh Linh, and Bui Cong Nam.

The tree-planting initiative, which saw prominent singers Ha Anh Tuan, Bui Cong Nam, and Nguyen Hung join forces with fans, took place at Van Long Wetland on the afternoon of 29/5. This effort involved planting over 1,000 trees, primarily fig trees, intended to create a vital winter food source for the rare white-rumped langur, a primate species native to the area. The activity is a key component of the Forestival 2026 music festival, set to culminate in a concert on the evening of 30/5 at Binh Minh Square, featuring performances by Ha Anh Tuan, Den, Hieuthuhai, DJ 2pillz, Nguyen Hung, Phung Khanh Linh, and Bui Cong Nam.

Ha Anh Tuan emphasized his participation in the event as a way to spread love for his homeland through practical actions. He believes that collective effort forms an indispensable link in the ongoing journey of nature conservation. Since 2020, the singer and his team have spearheaded the Vietnam Forest project, collaborating with local authorities to plant trees in various locations, including Binh Thuan (1/2022), Lam Dong (8/2020), Da Nang, Ha Giang (1/2021), Ninh Binh (2023), and Cuc Phuong forest.

Born in the Central Highlands, Nguyen Hung stated he has a deep connection to forests. Tree planting is also his way of showing personal responsibility for benefiting from nature's valuable gifts.

Bui Cong Nam hoped this meaningful activity would spread widely among young people in general and his fan community in particular.

According to Bui Khanh Linh, each person planting a tree makes a small contribution to preserving Vietnam's forests.

The first 1,000 audience members who purchased tickets for the Forestival 2026 music festival had the opportunity to participate in the tree-planting activity with the artists.

Gia Phuoc, 14 years old, said he has enjoyed watching wildlife programs since childhood. He felt fortunate to participate in a social activity with artists for the first time.
