Produced by DTAP, the project celebrates Vietnam’s landscapes, culture, and people. The lyrics recall the nation's origins, history, and its celebrated figures—elements that "make Vietnam what it is". The group combines folk and contemporary music, using traditional instruments like the monochord, zither, and drums, bringing listeners a sense of grandeur blended with gentle melodies.
The MV takes viewers on a journey to explore famous craft villages like Ha Dong silk and Bat Trang ceramics, as well as cultural and tourism icons such as Uncle Ho’s Sen Village (Nghe An), the terraced fields of the Northwest, and the Hoi An lanterns (Da Nang).
The team chose the image of a North-South train, inspired by the Lac bird motif on the Dong Son bronze drum, departing from "Dong Son Station". The journey culminates at Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi, where the train transforms into a dragon, symbolizing Vietnam’s aspiration to rise and integrate globally.
Interspersed with natural scenery are historical elements, including the atmosphere of the Bach Dang battle and the declaration of independence "Nam quoc son ha," recreated using 3D effects. Art forms like water puppetry and “hat boi” (classical Vietnamese opera), along with scenes of daily life in fishing villages and fish markets of the Mekong Delta, also appear in the video.

The MV’s highlight is the final scene, featuring 100 people representing different generations and professions, including Saigon’s female special forces operatives and youth volunteers. Miss Universe H’Hen Nie, “hat boi” artist Phuong Loan, former swimmer Anh Vien, and fashion designer Phan Dang Hoang also make appearances.
DTAP chose a brick kiln as the setting for the MV’s conclusion, symbolizing how each individual is like a brick: before becoming strong, they must constantly nurture their will and temper their character.

The three main vocalists represent different generations and regions: Thanh Hoa (North), Truc Nhan (Central), and Phuong My Chi (South). Artist Thanh Hoa said she was moved when stepping onto the set, which reminded her of the atmosphere of the youth volunteers’ generation "crossing the Truong Son mountains to save the country".
At the premiere event on 6/8, Phuong My Chi cried while watching the MV. In the video, she wears an “ao dai” (traditional Vietnamese dress), adorned with badges including "Youth Following Uncle Ho’s Teachings", "Exemplary Young Citizen of TP HCM", and "Promising Young Vietnamese Face," awarded to her in 2024.

Truc Nhan said DTAP initially invited him to perform a different song from the project. However, upon hearing "Made in Vietnam," he expressed his desire to sing it because of the strong sense of pride and inspiration it evoked.
DTAP limited their music production commitments this year to focus on completing this project. While attending an international songwriting camp in Beijing mid-year, they shared the demo with music producers from South Korea and Thailand, receiving positive feedback that further motivated them. Alongside the MV, DTAP is also finalizing their debut album with the same theme, set for release in August.
Director Kawaii Tuan Anh lost sleep for many nights, working with dozens of people in the visual effects team to release the video in time for the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on 2/9. The team also connected with the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to promote the song among young people.
