However, some viewers found parts of the script awkward, with Chen appearing more like the male lead's aunt than his girlfriend in some scenes.

Zhou Keyu, a Chinese-American, entered the entertainment industry in 2018 as a member of the boy band BEST. He has appeared in films such as *Only For Love* and *The Red-Roofed House Under the Tree*.

Chen released the film after announcing her divorce from actor Chen Xiao in February.
