According to Viva, the video recreates the 1988 setting where the five families from Ssangmun-dong neighborhood traveled to a coastal region in Gangwon Province, South Korea. They reminisced about filming, played games, and joked with each other in an intimate atmosphere, mirroring their on-screen chemistry.
Some artists appeared with styling similar to their characters in the drama. Park Bo Gum garnered attention as his current appearance remained largely unchanged from when he played Choi Taek in 2015. Actor Yoo Jae Myung, who played the teacher of the same name, commented that it felt as if only two or three years had passed. Actor Sung Dong Il added: "This is truly an unforgettable drama, which is why we are all here together."
The end of the video featured a hidden guest. On social media, many fans speculated that the person was Kim Seol, 14, who played the "food goddess" Jin Joo. In the series, her cute remarks and expressions brought much laughter. The appearance of Ryu Jun Yeol and Lee Hyeri also drew audience interest, as they did not share the same frame. According to Chosun, their filming schedules were staggered because the two had previously dated and publicly announced their separation in november 2023.
On social media platform X, some users wrote: "Seeing the cast appear with their old looks makes me feel like time has stopped", "It's just a teaser video, but it brings back so many memories of the show", "The interaction between the families is still as natural as it was during filming, with no sense of distance."
