Over the past two months, Minh Luan frequently traveled between TP HCM and Dong Thap to oversee the construction. The 300 square meter house, built on a 3,000 square meter plot, features a neoclassical style with a Thai-inspired roof, including three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The interior predominantly uses wood, reflecting his parents' preferences.

The actor decided to demolish and renovate approximately 80% of the old structure, which was built 20 years ago. He explained that he had to patiently persuade his parents for nearly two years before they agreed. According to Minh Luan, his parents are of advanced age and often reluctant to change, preferring to preserve old memories. However, his desire was to provide them with a comfortable living space. "When parents are of advanced age and declining health, my greatest priority is to do things that make them happy," he said.

Minh Luan put his work in TP HCM on hold and declined to participate in director Phuong Dien's new film project to fully dedicate himself to the house construction.

Previously, the actor also renovated his home garden, seeking a relaxing space away from the bustling city. He hired people to clear a portion of the banana garden and planted additional star apple, guava, jackfruit, durian, sapodilla, and apricot blossoms.

At 41, Minh Luan remains single. He is a familiar face on Southern television. He has appeared in films such as "Co Duoi Ga", "Yeu Them Lan Nua", "Anh Em Nha Bac Si", and "Pha Le Khong De Vo". His most recent projects include "Loi Nguyen Luc 0h", "Me Rom", and "Hai Muoi". In 2020, Minh Luan collaborated with artist Hong Van to open the Cho Lon theater. Beyond acting, he possesses singing talent, having won second place in the "Tinh Bolero 2016" competition.
