Phuong Linh attended the star-studded event on 28/9, invited by a luxury brand. She mentioned admiring Iris Mittenaere for years and was thrilled to finally meet her. Phuong Linh initiated a conversation, introducing herself and her Vietnamese heritage to the former Miss Universe.

"I admire Iris Mittenaere's radiant smile and friendly energy. I hope to welcome her to Vietnam someday", Phuong Linh stated.

Iris Mittenaere, 33, was crowned Miss Universe 2016 in the Philippines. In late January, she celebrated the 10th anniversary of her victory. Standing at 1,73 m, Iris Mittenaere is known for her striking features and bright smile. At the time of her crowning, she was pursuing a dentistry degree at the University of Lille II.

Over the years, the beauty queen has built a career in entertainment and television. She has hosted numerous shows in her home country, competed in Danse avec les Stars 2018, and finished as runner-up. She also authored the autobiography Toujours y croire, detailing her journey and experiences post-coronation. Beyond television, she has judged Top Model Belgium and frequently graces major fashion runways. In 2019, Forbes France recognized Iris Mittenaere as one of the country's most prominent influencers. Today, she represents several luxury fashion brands.

Attending a renowned fashion week for the first time, Phuong Linh shared feelings of excitement mixed with nervousness. She meticulously planned her outfits, makeup, and hairstyles weeks in advance. On the red carpet, Phuong Linh wore a fishtail gown, highlighting her silhouette, complemented by various jewelry pieces.

Nguyen Hoang Phuong Linh, 27, from TP HCM, was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2025. Standing 1,75 m tall, with measurements of 87-65-91 cm, she is celebrated by audiences for her beauty and radiant smile.

Before her entertainment career, Phuong Linh earned a degree in Business and Information Technology Supply Chain Management from the University of Washington in the US, achieving a 3,6/4 GPA. She also completed a business college program in Houston. Upon returning to Vietnam, she held an office job before entering pageantry. In late 2025, she represented Vietnam at Miss Cosmo, placing in the top 10.
