My Tam energized a music event in Ho Chi Minh City on 26/9 with a hip-shaking performance. Influenced by belly dance, her routine included a series of hair flips, lasting over one minute, performed with her dance troupe. The video of this performance quickly garnered hundreds of thousands of views on social media, with many viewers expressing delight at her vibrant energy at age 45.
My Tam's consistent stage presence is a result of her strong dance and live singing abilities. Ly Phuong Chau, choreographer for MTE Dance Troupe, noted that the singer, born in 1981, adheres to strict training. For major live shows or performances, My Tam dedicates over 8 hours daily to vocal and dance practice.
"Giac Mo Muon Mau" is a hit song closely linked with the Da Nang-born singer. It appeared on her 4th studio album, "Hoang Hon Thuc Giac", released in 2005. For this performance, My Tam reimagined the track with an energetic dance remix, departing from its original pop style.
