According to Vogue, after a period of smaller sunglasses trending, oversized shades are dominating the runways for the 2026 fashion season. The designs often feature frames that hug the bridge of the nose, with large lenses obscuring much of the face. In its Resort 2026 collection, Balenciaga stays true to its signature "bug-eye" style, while Khaite opts for more geometric lines. Fendi and Gucci also present thick, oversized sunglasses, signaling this as a prominent trend for this year and the next.
