After her marriage breakdown with her Polish ex-husband, Phuong Mai currently rents a home in TP HCM, where she lives with her seven-year-old son, Henryk. The model mentioned she has purchased a new apartment and is awaiting interior completion before moving in next year.

The living room of her rented apartment, which faces the Saigon River, is where she spends time talking and playing with her son daily. Phuong Mai shared that her son alternates living weekly with his father and her.

Outside of school hours, Phuong Mai enrols her son in piano and chess lessons to develop his skills.

Phuong Mai states that playing chess with her son is not only for entertainment but also a way for her to interact and understand his personality.

The model also reads books with her son every evening to help him develop focus, stimulate curiosity, and understand life.

Despite her busy work schedule, she maintains the habit of cooking at home to prepare dishes her son likes.

Phuong Mai meticulously cares for every corner of her home. Along the hallway connecting the rooms, she displays a series of paintings by artists Hoang Ngan and Huu Thanh Tung, which she has collected over many years.

The bedroom also fully faces the Saigon River, a space where Phuong Mai often rests, reads, and relaxes.

Henryk was taught to live independently by his mother and has slept in his own room since he was three years old. The boy has a great passion for cars, so whenever Phuong Mai travels for work, she always looks for small car models to bring back as gifts for him.

After her marriage breakdown, the model said she chose a slower pace of life to focus on physical and mental well-being. Instead of social gatherings as before, Phuong Mai now prioritizes private time. In her free time, she finds joy in gym workouts and playing golf.

Phuong Mai was in the top 15 Miss World Vietnamese 2010 and the top 10 Asian Supermodel 2009. She also participated in films such as Khi Tinh Yeu Len Tieng, Am Muu Giay Got Nhon, and Chung Cu Ma. The model has also hosted many prominent events, including Miss Charm 2023 and Miss Universe Vietnam 2023, leading major bilingual Vietnamese-English programs.

She married a foreigner in 2018, holding their wedding in 2019. The couple divorced in 2025 and share parental responsibilities.
