Van Son returns to cinema after 25 years, following his appearance in "Vat doi sao doi", released in 2001 and directed by Charlie Nguyen. His reunion with producer Charlie Nguyen was a key factor in his decision to participate in this new project.

The artist plays the lead role of Tam OK, a director labeled as a "junk film specialist." His continuous release of low-quality productions led to his daughter (Lam Thanh My) being upset and colleagues mocking him. Determined to create a memorable film that would bring pride to his daughter, Tam is assigned a 35-minute horror film about zombies, to be shot in one take (one shot, no cuts) and streamed live. Numerous chaotic and comical situations unfold on the film set.

The script is a remake of "One Cut of the Dead", a sensation in Japan in 2018, which grossed over 30 million USD on a budget of just 25,000 USD. Producer Charlie Nguyen stated that when he and director Phan Gia Nhat Linh remade the film, they largely retained the storytelling structure, adding characters and details to better suit the domestic context.

Actors Le Khanh and Tuan Khai, a married couple, are active in both film and theater. In the film, Le Khanh portrays Tam OK's wife, a former actress who put her passion aside due to financial pressures.

Miu Le, with tanned skin, plays a TikToker who loves acting.

Lien Binh Phat takes on the role of a sought-after film star. In recent years, his participation in "Running Man Viet Nam" and "Anh trai vuot ngan chong gai" has significantly increased his popularity, especially among young audiences.

Lam Thanh My plays the main character's daughter. She is a young talent frequently cast by directors in psychologically demanding roles, particularly in horror and spiritual films.

Actress Truc Anh, known as Ha Lan from "Mat biec", attended to congratulate the film crew. She recently focused on weight loss to resume work after graduating from university.
