With a 30-year acting career, Shu Qi is celebrated for works including The Transporter, The Assassin, My Wife is a Gangster 3, Love, and Three Times. Last year, her directorial debut, Girl, earned her Best Director at the Busan Film Festival in Korea.

The event also saw the attendance of actress Zhang Jingyi, who is part of the management company co-founded by Shu Qi. Actor Li Xian was present as well.

Li Xian and Jingyi are currently co-starring in the film 'Vu Ly Thanh'. In the movie, Li Xian portrays Meng Fuyuan, a successful technology entrepreneur who harbors a secret love for Chen Qingwu (Zhang Jingyi). Chen Qingwu's family intends for her to marry Meng Qiran, Meng Fuyuan's younger brother, who unfortunately does not reciprocate her affection.
