According to News1, the singer did not reveal any further information about his bride. The wedding ceremony will be a private affair, attended by family and close friends.
He will continue his artistic activities after the wedding and is currently busy preparing for an album commemorating 30 years of singing and a concert in October. Previously, Jong Kook purchased a 243 m2 apartment in the Nonhyeon-dong area, Gangnam district, Seoul for 6.2 billion won (over 4.4 million USD) as his new home.

A representative of Turbo JK Company, the artist's management company, confirmed the information, stating, "Embarking on this new chapter during the 30th anniversary of his first public performance is particularly meaningful. We hope the audience will send their blessings and support him with sincere affection".
On social media forums, the news of Jong Kook's upcoming wedding has attracted thousands of comments from fans. One account wrote, "Has this day finally come? His fans have been waiting for this day for so long. Congratulations".
Born in 1976, Kim Jong Kook debuted in the Korean entertainment industry as a member of the group Turbo. During his time with Turbo, he became known for hits like White Love, Love Is, Goodbye Yesterday, and Black Cat Nero, becoming one of the icons of Korean dance music in the 1990s. As a solo artist, Kim Jong Kook quickly established his name with a series of ballads, among which One Man is considered his signature hit.

Jong Kook is one of the few artists to have received the Daesang award from three national television stations.
