According to the Daily Mail on 18/7, Mel C (real name Melanie Chisholm, known as "Sporty Spice") and her husband held a private wedding ceremony in the Lake District. Three members, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell-Horner, and Mel B, were present to congratulate the bride.
Victoria Beckham was absent as she was in the US with her husband, former football player David Beckham, attending the 2026 World Cup. Despite being unable to join the celebration, the designer prepared a gift for her close friend: a long, open-back wedding dress of her own design. Mel C wore this gown as she walked down the aisle.

A Daily Mail source stated Victoria regretted not being able to attend her friend's important day due to a prior schedule. The source added that creating Mel C's wedding dress brought the designer joy.
The wedding was held in a simple, intimate style, attended by family and friends. Scarlett, Mel C's daughter with former boyfriend Thomas Starr, served as a bridesmaid.
The singer and Australian model Chris Dingwall met in 2023 through a dating app for celebrities and professionals across various fields. Previously, the singer had stated multiple times she had no intention of marrying. However, her relationship with Dingwall changed her perspective on marriage. She described her boyfriend as calm, humorous, and sharing her passion for sports. "It's wonderful to enjoy life with someone you love", Mel C told the Telegraph.
Mel C is the last Spice Girls member to marry. Victoria Beckham married David Beckham in 1999, Geri Halliwell married Christian Horner in 2015, Emma Bunton wed Jade Jones in 2021, and Mel B (real name Melanie Brown) married Rory McPhee in 2025.

In 2012, the Spice Girls reunited for a performance at the London Olympic Games closing ceremony. Afterward, the four remaining members, excluding Victoria, continued to perform together. In 2024, the group reunited for Victoria Beckham's 50th birthday party.
