The event took place at the Creative Park (An Khanh ward) on the Saigon River on 13/8, in anticipation of the 80th National Day anniversary. Singer Ho Ngoc Ha said she participated in the activity with hopes of adding more green spaces and aesthetic beauty to the city for both residents and tourists to relax and take photos. "I believe in a few years, people will have more places to enjoy flowers without having to travel far," she said.

According to director Tran Thanh Trung, the project initiator, the team chose peach blossom trees because they symbolize vitality and connection. The project isn't just a one or two-year endeavor; they hope to maintain it for many years to come. According to Trung, after one year, the trees will begin to bloom, and after about three years, they will bloom profusely, becoming a new check-in spot in the city center.
"Through this activity, we hope that everyone, especially the younger generation, will join hands to plant trees, preserve a corner of the city, and spread the spirit of beautiful and civilized living," Trung said.
Many familiar faces attended the tree planting, including Miss Le Hoang Phuong, Nhu Van, Kieu Hang, runner-up Bui Ly Thien Huong, singers Thanh Ngoc, Ngoc Linh, Quoc Dai, and actresses Puka and Kha Nhu. Ngoc Chau, Miss Universe Vietnam 2022, hopes this idea will spread to many other localities, creating "blooming neighborhoods."
