These templates are ideal for those who wish to participate in the competition but have limited video editing experience. Contestants can access template 01 or template 02, select "Use template", and then replace the placeholders with their personal content that embodies the spirit of "Song ruc ro". Upon completion, participants must upload their video to their personal account with the hashtags specified by the competition rules.
While using these templates simplifies the production process, it does not diminish the requirements for creativity and content quality. Contestants still need to select appropriate materials, craft a clear message, and present their story from a unique perspective.
Trailer for the "Song ruc ro" competition.
Song ruc ro is a digital content creation competition under Vietnam iContent 2026. It is open to Vietnamese citizens residing, studying, or working both domestically and abroad, as well as foreign nationals legally residing in Vietnam. Participants can enter individually or as a group across three categories: Video, Photo, and Article.
Entries can feature inspiring individuals, journeys of silent dedication, acts of kindness for the community, initiatives that bring practical value to society, stories of overcoming difficulties, entrepreneurship, or the beauty of Vietnamese culture, history, and people. The organizing committee encourages unique perspectives, authentic stories, and messages that can inspire positive action.
For the Video category, contestants can submit reports, vlogs, or short documentaries up to five minutes in length, accompanied by a description or script not exceeding 300 words. The Photo category requires five to 12 photos in JPG or PNG format, with a description of up to 700 words. The Article category is limited to 1,000 words, with one to two illustrative photos.
Contestants must publicly post their entries on personal accounts/pages (TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram) using the hashtags #VietnamiContent2026 #Songrucro #[Ten_Dia_diem_sang_tao_bai_thi]. Following this, contestants should access the program website to complete the information form and submit entry links via the official submission portal. Each individual or organization may submit multiple entries, with no limit on the number.
The organizing committee will accept entries until 12:00 on 31/10. The preliminary round will take place from 2/11 to 16/11, selecting 45 works for the finals, comprising 15 entries per category. The judging panel will evaluate the final round from 20/11 to 4/12 based on four criteria: content and message, creativity, quality of execution, and viral potential.
The competition offers eleven awards. Each category – Video, Photo, and Article – will grant one first prize worth VND 30 million, one second prize worth VND 20 million, and one third prize worth VND 10 million, along with a certificate. Additionally, there are five Techcombank OneU awards, each valued at VND 3-6 million, including U-Points and vouchers from partners. The award ceremony is scheduled for 11/12.
Contestants are advised to review the full competition rules to understand regulations on copyright, eligibility conditions, and violation handling before submitting their works.
