Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – A fashion exhibition and show recently celebrated designer Vo Viet Chung's 30-year career, drawing a distinguished crowd including veteran artists Huu Chau and Thanh Loc, both dressed in traditional ao dai. The event, held on 22/12, was a dual celebration, showcasing both the designer's legacy and his latest creations.

Artist Huu Chau wore a monochromatic ao dai to the event.

The venue featured an ao dai display and photographs of 30 beauties who have worn the designer's creations. An adjacent runway presented three new collections. Actor Thanh Loc toured the exhibition, designed with an antique aesthetic. He expressed his appreciation for Vo Viet Chung's designs, highlighting their traditional forms and materials which honor Vietnamese heritage.

The two veteran artists watched the show from the front row.

Vo Viet Chung's 30-year career is marked by significant contributions to Vietnamese fashion. In 2020, he received a Labor Order, 3rd class, for his impact on the industry. A notable moment was his 2019 show, "25 years of Lanh My A – A Thousand-Year Treasure", dedicated to the ancient Lanh My A silk fabric. UNESCO recognized the designer for his efforts in restoring and developing this unique fabric from Tan Chau (An Giang province), thereby preserving traditional beauty through the ao dai.

Actor Truong Minh Cuong wore an ao dai made from Lanh My A, a material integral to Vo Viet Chung's work for many years. Miss Ocean 2025 Nguyen Thanh Thao admired a dragon-patterned ao dai by the designer. Other attendees included beauty Duong Yen Ngoc, singer Thao Trang, and actor Tu Vi.

Miss Ha Kieu Anh had her hair and makeup done in a classic style.

Ly Huong is a familiar "muse" for Vo Viet Chung across many collections. She is also one of the 30 individuals featured in Vo Viet Chung's photo book project.
